DTC Architecture Design Studio Fall Semester 18/19: Rudolf Steiner School Auditorium

Digital fabrication technology and digital design tools for timber constructions have become much easier accessible and more capable over the last years. They allow for the efficient prefabrication of precisely built structures with elaborate details and rapid assembly solutions. But how can these techniques be used to create architecture, exciting, welcoming and functional spaces? These questions are investigated by the students of the DTC architecture studio. This fall, design proposals were developed for an auditorium for a Rudolf Steiner school.
