Felix Schmidt-Kleespies DTC Team

Felix Schmidt-Kleespies is PhD assistant at the DTC. He completed his bachelor’s degree in architecture at the HafenCity University in Hamburg. After gaining experience at the office of Spanish Architect Elisa Valero he moved to the HTWK Leipzig where he received his MA degree, concentrating on the advantages of timber constructions and digital fabrication. Since October 2018 he has been active as an PhD scholar in the DTC team. In his work he is currently focussing on the potential of numerically manufactured timber components and their impact on architecture, assembly and production processes as well as the optimization of planning procedures.
